They are only compatible with transmitters form the group 1, composed by TL-5 to TL-16. They include the selection of a push button on a transmitter, allowing to control 2 channels receivers with 1 single channel transmitter and 1 channel receiver with 2 channels transmitter. Standard models actuate like a push button, connecting the output only when the corresponding push button on the transmitter is pressed. Flip flop models actuate like a switch, alternatively connecting or disconnecting the output each time you press the corresponding push button on the transmitter.
